CAJON KICKER will open new possibilities to the Cajon!
Cajons are played by creating two sounds: ‘high notes’ and 'low notes'.
Usually, the player sits and beats the surface with both hands. ‘High notes’ are made by beating the top area, and ‘low notes’ are made by beating the bottom area of the cajon.
As these two sounds are similar to that of the snare and bass drum from a drum set, the cajon has been used more and more as an easy drum set during street live performances and acoustic live performances.
A drum set requires separate movements from your hands and feet but a cajon requires relying on your hands alone to create the same rhythm.
Therefore, it is difficult to express the same rhythm, so less experienced players can only create simple rhythms.
To remedy this, there have been Cajon Pedals, a remodelled version of bass drum pedals, sold from various companies.
However, majority are expensive (30,000yen – 50,000yen) and are heavy, making them difficult to carry.

Thus, the creation of “CAJON KICKER”!
Using the same concept as the kick drum pedal, as opposed to attaching it to the cajon; based on the new idea of ‘attaching to your feet’, Harmotech introduces a compact, light, and affordable tool to play the Cajon.

You only have to attach one CAJON KICKER to your foot.
It weighs only 300g so it won't get in the way of your playing!
The kicker is attached on the right foot in the photo, but you can put it on your left foot too!
